Open House Exhibit
“They Know Who They Are… Do You?” exhibition, still a notable work, showcased 19 striking portraits, some not as prints, of celebrities, students, shop assistants, and ordinary individuals selected for their confidence and distinctive appearances. David remained steadfast in his commitment to authenticity by refraining from altering any of the photographs. Epson, the project’s sponsor, utilized their Epson Stylus Pro 3880 printer to create the prints.
The exhibition commenced on May 7 and 8, 2011, at David’s gallery, The Dining Room, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the Brighton and Hove Artists Open Houses (AOH) May Festival. It garnered immense popularity, attracting 400 visitors during its opening weekend.
